We paid 70 euros/night for this hotel and we did get a good deal. The hotel is located just across the La ramblas and catalunya which are the main attraction sof the city. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and large. The staff ensured a nice stay for our friends too who were on their honeymoon. There was a nice closet and flat TV in the room. the room also had a balcony but it did not offer any views as it was blocked by the hotel sign. The bathroom was fitted with nice spa and jet but missed toileteries. Overall, I would recommend this place to others.
My wife, my son and I stayed at this hotel in Jan 2010 for 2 nights. And so we booked a triple room which was of a good size. The room was kept clean and had a small refrigerator. The location scores high points as it was off the ramblas and Catalunya. the staff was very charming and helpful. The breakfast was included in the package and it helped us feel energetic. Do enjoy the aquarium if you are with children. the city is lovely and the hotel was worth the stay.
I went to Barcelona with my wife and had a great trip. Thanks to the hotel also for making us comfortable. The location is great : just 2 blocks from catalunya and ramblas, where the Aerobus stops and also where the city turistic bus begins. The metro Universitat station is just a block away which takes you to all other places in Barcelona. The staff was very kind and humble, gave directions and suggestions about food and travel. Our room on first floor was clean and had a nice patio. The breakfast was very good. i would definitely recommend this place and would come back again.
We were very impressed with the overall look of the hotel. Nice chic reception and lobby and staff that was eager to help. We had a disabled member among us and the staff helped us aget a double room instead of twin. The room was clean and comfy and had all facilities. There was metro noise from outside, but that is the case with all hotels in the area. There are nice restaurants around and the location is great. I would advice the hotel staff to have a dedicated staff for helping the disabled people. Overall, a good experience and recommended place.
