   first time trip to barcelona from Melbourne. Selected hotel for it s location close to metro, cataluna, airport bus and all good places. Department store and supermarket across the road and lots of places to eat and drink nearby only. The room of hotel was large than expected and clean and nice. the room was facing the street and there was lot of noise from the traffic and especially from the metro which goes underground. it is difficult to sleep without earplugs. staff was very helpful and spoke english well. overall good hotel and will stay again.

   I travelled to this city with my partner and picked up this hotel online. Nothing can beat its location as it is ideal for moving around and staying connected to the transport system. But nothing is great about the hotel – very small room and the bed was firm. There was some smoky smell and so we changed our rooms, which was similar. Breakfast was good but quite expensive. Its a good hotel if you want a good location and you just want a place to dump your luggage. If you are looking for special things, you can skip this.

   We stayed here for 4 nights, reached early and so were made to wait for check in but they helped us keep our luggage at a safe place. I’ll list out both the good and the bad:

   Good:
   easy check in at check in time
   free safe box in the room
   good cleanliness maintained daily
   superb location- close to all spots and trasport systems

   Bad:
   very small room
   no good views
   balcony was just good enough to stand
   lots of noise from the metro passing nearby
   aircon was noisy
