Duc De Medinaceli Hotel - Presentation
The Hotel Medinaceli occupies the old Palace of the Duke and Duchess of Medinaceli. It is located in the Gothic Quarter of the city. The interior spiral staircase -modern art style- as well as the interior décor of the corridors are worthy of mention. We have 44 rooms with air-conditioning, heating, satellite TV, Internet connection and individual safety deposit box. Buffet breakfast and lounge.

We went to Barcelona for a Mediterranean cruise last summer and spent 1 week in this hotel during that trip. I found the hotel location to be very convenient, very close to Las Ramblas, the metro and the Gothic Quarter. We liked the MareMagnum shopping area nearby. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was well equipped. There was a fridge in our room and our bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated. The staff at the front desk spoke English and was very friendly. The only negative that we experienced was noise due to the renovation of the park across the street.
