Del Comte Hotel - Presentation
The rebirth of a pioneer. This hotel was opened in 1997; it's an exceptional building which has been renovated internally to make the best use of its space and adapt to modern times. Situated in the city's financial district and the exhibition centre, it offers visitors the opportunity to relax, unwind, and recuperate. Within minutes, you'll be able to reach Plaza Cataluna or any other part of Barcelona.

This is a no luxury, no frills hotel. It is a 2 star with basic and adequate amenities. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and there was a nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a quiet place and peaceful at night. You can walk for 15 mins and reach Las Ramblas and it would take around 30 mins to the port. Wi-fi connection is available through signing up with Wi-Fly. A nice place at a decent rate but dont expect any luxuries or extra amenities.
I stayed at this hotel with my wife in Jan’2010 and this was my first visit to Spain.We chose this hotel because of its location as the Aerobus from the airport drops to the metro stop which is a block away from the hotel. The buses run every 10 mins and is very convenient for tourists. It is also a couple of blocks from the party spots of Eixample. The room was clean and comfortable and had good closet place and a safe too. The bathroom was alos nice with a walk in shower and good amenities. the walls of the room are thin, so it can get a bit noisy. Otherwise, I really liked the hotel.
We reached this hotel quite late than our expected time, but the receptionist understood and had kept a room for us. The rooms were clean and of good size. The staff was always there to answer our queries and guide us about the city. The breakfast had a good variety and was for 9 euros. The tube station is close to the hotel and the area was quite peaceful. I will visit this city again and I would pick up this hotel too.
