Confortel Bel Art Hotel - Presentation
Located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, this hotel is in the centre of the Art Nouveau triangle, comprised of the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell and Hospital Sant Pau. It has 94 recently refurbished rooms, lobby bar, restaurant, car park and free WiFi in communal areas and rooms. There are 2 convention rooms, 135 square metres in total.

check in easy and nice reception hotel.lobby has free internet. Rooms are average, and bathroom is ok. They give 2 waterbottles in fridge which is great :) hotel is far from city center but good tranportation is available. About 3 mins walk to afonsx station which takes to gothic quarter. near this station, good breakfast available at consum market. nearest fast foods like Mc D at sagrada familia which is 10 mins walking from the hotel. hotel from airport more than one hour by train and L4. in end, it is good if you travel by public transport as price is cheap at 60euros/night.
I stayed here with 6 friends of mine in Nov’09. It is not located at the heart of the city and is away from the tourist spots. But, that makes it a peaceful place to stay and also it is just a 10 mins downhill walk to Sagrada Familia. The hotel facilities were good and had clean rooms. We did not try breakfast as we preferred trying out other restaurants and cafes around. An advice would be to use the Sagrada familia station while going by metro and the Alfonsx station while returning. I would recommend this place.
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 days.The hotel was clean, it was spacious and had a modern and refreshing feel to it. It offered free internet to the hotel guests at the lobby. The rooms were nice and there was free water in the minibar. There was no carpets in the hotel and so we could hear a lot of noise from outside, of people walking or talking. There was no bar in the hotel. The hotel is away from the main city but the metro is 10 mins by foot and it takes a 20 min ride to La Ramblas. This was a 4 star hotel at a good price because it was away from the city center. One suggestion would be to do the city tour in the first two days itself. Overall, a nice hotel to stay.
