Catalonia Duques De Bergara Hotel - Presentation
This magnificent hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona, a few metres from Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Built in 1899 by one of Gaudí's masters, it is a beautiful modernist-style building. The construction conserves the most significant elements of the period and the facade has recently been restored. In its interesting interior patio, you can take a relaxing swim in the pool or sunbathe and enjoy a refreshing cocktail.

It was a friends getaway to Barcelona and we stayed at hotel Dorques for 4 nights. The location was perfect for us – close to aerobus stop, underground, La Ramblas and all major attractions. The room was of an average size and the beds were clean and comfortable. The breakwast was good with good variety, except for the coffee. Most of the staff was helpful and informative. I am pleased to stay here and would consider it for my next trip.
I stayed here for 4 nights and I cant talk enough about the great location of this hotel.everything was at a walking distance and we had to take the bus just once during our trip for goin to Parc Guell which is quite far from this place. All other spots like gothic Quarter, ramblas and eating joints are just blocks away. The rooms are small but adequate, clean and comfy. One room had a balcony where we could enjoy our drinks. They have a nice small pool where you can relax for a while. Good experience and recommended place.
We moved to this hotel after stayin at Pulitzer and were pleased. The hotel gives an old era feel and is yet modernised and updated. It has all that a traveller needs for a decent stay. The rooms are small as per USA standards but the bathrooms were airy and nice. the lounge is very attractive and enjoyable. The pool area is a great relaxation after a tiring day in the city. The staff was professional and nice. The flaw is with the location of the staff desk which faces way from the guests, but that is minor. Overall, a great place to stay.
