Catalonia Albinoni Hotel - Presentation
Between the Gothic Quarter and Plaza Cataluña, this former palace is in an unbeatable location in the very centre of the city. It is a beautiful building from the 19th century, designated as one of the city’s artistic heritage sites. Its rooms have been carefully decorated and, in its interior, there is an open-air courtyard where guests can enjoy the swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful terrace garden decorated with mural paintings and optical illusions.

We have just returned for a 7 day trip in barcelona and we were staying in hotel Albinoni. Brilliant location, right at Plaza Catalunya and a block from La Ramblas. The surrounding area was vibrant with tourists and had a lively atmosphere. Our favorite spot was the Gothic quarter which was also nearby. The rooms are nice and clean and the hosekeeping staff was professional in their work. The restaurant is expensive but the bed and breakfast works out a good deal. Lots of places to eat and enjoy nearby like the Hard Rock cafe. the staff was great too. we highly recommend this hotel.
All I cared about on my trip was to have a good location and this hotel gave me the ideal location to stay. The rooms were old but adequate and clean. The staff was warm and friendly. The free wi-fi access was a definite bonus. The breakfast was quite boring. The worst part was the smell which came from the plumbing and the kitchen which was such a put off. the balcony in the room offered no views, so was of no use to us. I would still say it was a decent place to stay in europe.
This hotel is in the centre of Barcelona and has a nice lobby and stairwell area. However, I found the price to be more for its room standards. The room was adequate but offered no views. The pool area was small and not so attractive. The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast itself was wonderful. the staff helped us and took care of our needs. I would say if you ignore the minor issues, its a good place to stay. Only point is the price did not justify the hotel quality.
