Apsis Atrium Palace Hotel - Presentation
In 2003, we transformed a typical Barcelonian bourgeois mansion of the XIXth century into a new modern hotel. The remodelling kept remarkable original elements like the façade, the main marble staircase and the central atrium. Beyond the concept of accommodation, we have designed the Atrium Palace using the most advanced hotel business approaches in Barcelona and the latest concepts of the hospitality industry – the boutique approach, the high-tech hotel, a guest-oriented policy, and extensive use of information technology.

I spent a week long vacation at this hotel with my gf. We decided to stay at this hotel mainly because of its location. We also wanted an indoor pool and spa since we were visiting in Jan. Our room was nice size and very clean. The breakfast offered good variety and was quite appetising. We did have some issues during our stay. The wifi for one did not work very well. I could not understand why the signal was so weak compared to the signal in the business center where the speed was great. The staff was friendly, but they did not give us accurate information about obtaining tickets for the football game.
The hotel location was great, and the indoor pool was even better. The size of the pool was not much but the fact that it was indoor was key. The exercise room was non functional and the central air conditioning was not working. Opening the windows meant that all the street noise made it to the room. Unfortunately, the people at the front desk were not very cooperative. I probably will not come back again.
