Inaugurated in 2001, The Actual offers the guest large hotel facilities with small hotel charm and intimacy. Apart from being the best boutique hotel in Barcelona, The Actual is located on an emblematic street corner with Passeig de Gracia.

I’m glad that we stayed at the Actual Hotel as we got a good deal for a 4 night stay in August. It gave a feel of a boutique; it was quiet, thanks to their double door system which blocked noise. Our room was facing the back and it did not have great views. Located in Eixample, it was close to Metro Diagonal and the green line. It was approx 15 mins walk to Place de Catalunya. A bonus feature was the free internet access. This is a no frills hotel, but I guess that is because of its decent price. Worth a try.
